They invite your comments on the Operating Budget. At the same time, in Juneau, the Senate Finance Committee will be taking public testimony on the Operating Budget, Senate Bill 20; the time slot for Cordovans to testify is from 2:30-3:30 pm. Please take a moment to review the process for testifying by phone, Tips for Testimony. The Cordova LIO will be open for those wanting to testify from 2:10 pm until testimony by Cordovans ends.
The Senate Finance Committee will also accept written testimony sent to Finance.Committee@akleg.gov . Note that Public Testimony (presented either verbally or in written form) becomes a part of the official committee records, while public verbal comments made at a Town Hall forum do not become part of the official record.
