Fun at the Grassy Field
Volunteers and Chamber staff will facilitate in-person activities for all ages at Hollis Henrichs Park (grassy field) adjacent to Cordova Community Medical Center. Enjoy the Vice Mayor’s welcome, National Anthem sung by Madelyn Roemhildt, the first ever Cordova musician to win a state command performance for voice, and colors presented by crew from the US Coast Guard Fir, followed by live music led by Belle Mickelson.
USFS is having their annual Cross-Cut Competition and featured Chainsaw artist Tom Robertson of Alaska Chainsaw Carvings will be there. Tom will be bringing along his incredible carved creations in addition to his trusty chainsaw to create custom pieces for Cordovans live on-site.
Additionally, there will be a variety of games and activities for all kids age 2 and up!

Cordova Rocks
Cordova Rocks group will encourage the community to collect rocks and paint them in a patriotic theme at home. In safe bubbles, participants are then encouraged to hide their painted rocks & search for others’ painted rocks around Cordova. Participants can post pictures on the Cordova Rocks Facebook Page or send to us at the Chamber to post. Details will be posted for the event on the Cordova Rocks Facebook group, Cordova Chamber of Commerce Facebook page, here on the Chamber website, and on flyers around town.Â
